The purpose of this research is to review and analyze articles on CALL in the journals published in Korea and in the world. A total of 262 articles are selected from three journals in Korea and three in the world and analyzed in terms of research topic, research methodology, and research participants. The study reveals that the major topic for articles both in Korea and worldwide is language skills. As for research methodology, quantitative methods have been used far more than qualitative ones. The participants of the articles are mostly university students. The comparative analysis also reveals that articles in Korea research more on the topic of evaluation, employ more qualitative methodology, and have more elementary school students participation than worldwide journals. Recommendations for future research are offered.
