New trend of makeup can be often appeared in popular fashion collections such as Milano, Paris, London and New York. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship in fashion collection between make-up expression technique and Derrida’s deconstruction theory. This study combines the 4 characteristics of Derrida’s deconstruction; difference, intertextuality, intermeaning of meanings, breakaway from phenomenon, with characteristics of make-up image. The expression technique of make-up with deconstruction is artistic and creative in all its aspects such as Grotesque, Collage, Dripping, Decalcomanie, Graphic, Decadence and Notester. Side shown not only in a face but also a neck, arms and even palms is expressed as wide enough to be emerged from existing constitution of make-up. Deconstruction make-up is more creative and unconventional compared to other common make-up styles and expresses more freely. It also does not keep one kind of characteristic. One can interpret it in various ways since it can be varied in techniques and images and has positive links in the aspects of deconstruction. Therefore, various experiments in make-up need to be attempted and new products need to be developed. Designers also need to work on creating a new idea of make-up.
