Between adherence to the Islamic teachings ＆ public morals and having a lingering attachment for the epicurean cultures, although the modern Arabs have chosen the former, however it seemed that blockade of the western cultured new wave would be beyoun their capacity. Among the most distinctive motifs of the Levantine movies are concerned with the wars between Israel and Palestine. When we discuss the Middle East affairs, it is no exaggeration to say that the Palestine issue is the nucleus of all the problems. Syria & Lebanon and Israel are hostile to each other, nay, the word of "hostile" alone can not communicate the Arabs way of thinking about Israel as it is. As for them until now and in the future, their fight against Israel is the Jihad for the cause of God and in defense of their nation. On this paper the present writer takes a general view of Jihad through the Koranic verses.
