A Study on subsidiary verb /paj/ and /ma/ in Thai This study was to state the syntactic, semantic structure analyzing time, spatial and psychological orientation that /paj/ and /ma/ show in Thai language. Generally, as long as specific situation is not given, the speaker is on the source space in the sentence where /paj/ is used that functions as main verb, verb antecedent and subsidiary verb, and at the sentence /ma/ is used, the speaker is in the goal space. However, the listener tendency is tense in the mode of expression of Thai language's motion verb, so sometimes it is expressed on the contrary. In case subsidiary verb /paj/ and /ma/ show the time direction in Thai language, they show the meaning of progressive aspect and perfective aspect, and in case they show psychological direction, /paj/ shows the meaning that exceeds the standard that the speaker think appropriate. In this case, supplement verb /ma/ isn't used. Also, /ma/ expresses something entering the brain or the thing that didn't exist or was forgotten comes into being or expresses something that comes across, and this time, /paj/ is not used.
