This research is a current view to examine the structure and feature of perception of national autonomy in leaders of Democratic People's Republic of Korea during establishment of nation in relation to their perception of USSR. Its contents can largely be summarized in two aspects. One aspect is that the leaders then recognized association of right and left/ association of north and south, and the process itself in creating people's reins of government on the basis of people and constructing systems of democratic people's nation and society to establish autonomous economy / national culture, as the process to realize national autonomy. The other aspect is that in those process they thought USSR's influence not as restrictive conditions but as fundamental base for securing the realization of autonomy, and was in a practical position the positively utilize USSR's political and economical support for the reinforcement of people's power and the independence of people's economy. These facts mean that in those days their perception of autonomy had the practical and political color to place focus on imminent tasks for construction of nation. That is, their perception is based neither on the establishment of original theoretical system for constructing people's democratic nation, nor on the establishment of autonomous system of perception which had thoroughly overcome colonial perception about history and culture on the national level. Their then perception of national autonomy incorporated many clues forward 'Juche ideology' as DPRKish Marxism and Leninism, but it was required to develop new perception about national autonomy, to review it theoretically, and to re-perceive and re-construct Korea's history and culture fundamentally.
