A Study on Relationship between Immigration policy and Integration policy for international marriage immigrants Recently the number of immigrant in Korea is gradually growing. So immigration policy, multicultural policy and integration policy are still under controversy. As a result of these circumstances, the importance of social integration policy is now attracting national's eyes. Even though social integration and immigration are related each other, based on the intrinsic nature of immigration policy, the inter-relationship between social integration policy and immigration policy is not yet forged. And also integration of immigrants is a two-way policy and process which is applied to all aliens and nationals. In this thesis I overview the definition and major elements of immigration policy, and apply the function of immigration policy to integration policy, and research the connections between the two, and analyze the implications and policy directions of marriage-based immigrants as the first ranking of integration. To suggest the inter-relationship between immigration policy and integration policy, I review the specific alternatives for connecting the two.
