This study is focused on the social integration problem of married immigrants in Gwangju area. For that, this study evaluates marital status of married immigrants, business social integration in Gwangju area. There were analyzed seven areas through the survey and they are following: labor market mobility, family reunification, education, political participation, long-term residence, access to nationality, anti-discrimination.
Through that study, multucultural family support for business that Gwangju run clearly shows assimilation of integration policy for immigrants. However, from the social integration policy analysis, it clearly shows that in Gwangju among those seven areas (mentioned before), married immigrants immigration status as well as discrimination and exclusion from mechanisms are in the focus. In other words, the assimilation of immigrants in the welfare level policy and the dual policy of social integration of immigrants discriminatory exclusion model including Gwangju area can be called as Korean multilateral and multicultural policies.
From that those two policies in any way fusioning or harmonizing, there can be the future of Korea's immigration policy; while now, Korean multiculturalism basing on national fundamental rights of marriage should accomplish the social integration of immigrants with citizens.
