This paper deals with concepts, necessities, precedent signs, and structuring methods of a Story Museum. A Story Museum refers to facilities for collection, preservation, research, display, and education about materials for Story Culture. Especially, modern Museums actively use digital technology, thus, extending previous function of Museum. A Story Museum is essential for overall collection and arrangement about substances of Story Culture : research of universal narrative theory, research basic theme of the humanities, and secure creative power of Culture Technology. The whole form of a Story Museum does not exist yet. But it is an important preceding sign of Story Museum that Jangseogak(藏書閣) of the Academy of Korean Studies; multimedia Hongrumong site; Gojeon-soseol yeongujaryo chongseo of Jo Hi-wung; Pansori-jaryo-chongseo of Kyonghee University. To establish a Story Museum, first of all, the materials of Korean narrative literature should be collected and extension of boundaries will be easier and easier. And scholars of narrative, owners of Story Culture materials, and workers in digital technology have to join and cooperate. Also, the design of a Story Museum should put an emphasis on the essential qualities and meanings of Story Culture.
