Currnet Status on the Study of Music Therapy for ADHD ChildrenMin-Joo Choi, In-Sil HongThis study aims to examine a overall tendency through the research results on analysis of studies about music therapy examples of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder accomplished in Korea. For this, I selected 38 thesis, which are doctor's thesis and master's thesis, within studies about music therapy examples of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder from 1990 to Jun. 2006. The types of analysis on this paper are an object of study, experimental design, the frequency of the experimental design, evaluation tools and dependent variable etc. As a result of this analysis, we can find out that elementary students are strongest in the age group of the object of study, and the most examples of the object of study showed up within the number of 5. In the methods of experimental design, almost all experiments about a single subject group without a control group occupied and the most frequency of treatments was applied in 20. Conners rating scales were used in the case of ADHD rating scales as the evaluation tools of clinical effects or diagnosing the recipients of study. There were partly research results which had no effects in the changing of dependent variable as therapy intervention effects. The discussion on the further subject outlook has been done.
