This paper has investigated the epic of self with depression disposition by comparatively analyzing people(with and without depressive disposition)’s response to ‘Hyo-BulhyoBridge.’ In those with depressive disposition, the epic of pushing parents was observed in a married women’s group(30-40s) and an elementary school students’group. Under the concept that a married woman’s infidelity was unforgettable, a married woman who was unfaithful to her husband eventually died in most stories. Furthermore, those with depressive disposition resented their widowed mother dating a widowed man. Instead of interfering the dating in person, a son of the windowed mother punished his mother and her date indirectly. In an elementary school students’ group, the epic of pushing parents was weak. The reason why young children didn’t push their parent is not because they understood their parent, but because they were very dependent on their parent. From the story about children with depressive disposition, two characteristics have been found as follows:First, they were resentful at their widowed mother’s infidelity. Second, they had had the desire of a young child who was totally dependent on their mother. In other words, the epic of pushing parents was created by their resentment and weakened by their dependence on their mother at the same time.
