It is important to have an adaptive work for harmony between the unique Korean immigrant church and its U.S. context. Even though Korean immigrant churches have several conflicts, they need to keep doing adaptive work for the transformation. Korean immigrant churches have difficulty in adjusting and participating in U.S. community because of their focusing on theology of survival, but I think the adaptive work of Korean church begins with the theology of interdependence. Evidently, adaptive ministry stems from theological and biblical reflection members engender in the congregation. Both long term and short term adaptive solution need to be done in terms of global ministry. It is time for Korean churches have a broader perspective for the mission and its role in the states and whole world.
