In recent days the mission programs for Chinese students in Korea has increased. The main focus has come from the idea of “Frontier Mission” which we can produce the mission resources for China here in Korea, I think. I can agree on that idea, but it also has the limitation of dualistic missiology. The Chinese students in Korea has their own agony and sigh, so they can be “a mediator of God's grace” as “an absolute others” who can touch into the Christian universities and churches in Korea. The open-policy since 1980s has changed the mission environment in China, but they still have so many restrictions on religious area in China, specially foreigner's religious activities. So they have two kinds of churches, which are Three Self Church and Home Churches. Till now, Korean missionaries has mainly supported Home Churches in the underground. So they do not have any influential way for campus in China. In this circumstances, so many Chinese students has come to Korea to become a great chance for mission of Chinese intellectuals, but those kinds of “barriers” are supposed to be the topics of dialogues for “Missio Dei”. There are good mission resources for Chinese students in Korea. First of all, Christian universities are good resources for mission which God prepared already long time ago. Chaplain's offices in Christian universities can support and gather the resources of Christian professors, students fellows, local churches and mission organizations. The development of materials for mission is also important, but the most important resources for mission must be Chinese students themselves. Because they are objectives of mission, at the same time they may be mission resources which can occur mission incidents for themselves and others. They can be a channel of grace which can produce the works of “Missio Dei” in Korea or East Asia.
