This study is designed to analyze the extent of Muslims' acceptability on the Korean culture and its problems in the future. As we know, the western countries have already accepted multi-culturalism to be in harmony with the ethnic minorities and immigrants. It is said we have still being regarded as one of the stubborn countries keeping ethnic homogeneity. On the basis of analysis on Korean multi-cultural society, it is planned to understand the Asian Islam and Korean people's understanding on Islam. Because Islam is one of the major religions in Asia. For this purpose, a survey on Muslim students in Korea was conducted to know their extent of acceptability on the Korean culture. In chapter Ⅱ, the extent of Muslim students' acceptability on the Korean culture is presented on the basis of the result of the survey conducted on 136 Muslims from 5 countries. According to the result of the survey, the Muslim students in Korea are trying to accept Korean culture progressively, in regardless of some differences between them. Their acceptability on Korean culture is different according to their staying term, number of friends, and degree of Korean language. The problems they have been suffering in Korea are food, praying place, prejudice on Islam and lack of network. In chapter Ⅲ, the characteristics of the Korean multi-cultural society and the Korean style of understanding Islam are described to know our problems of the current situation and next steps for accepting more detailed multi-culturalism. In chapter Ⅳ, the problems we will face in the future on the road to multi-cultural society are presented to increase the relationship between Asian Islamic countries and Korea. Islam is regarded as one of major religions in Asia, so it is needed Korea has to increase contacts with Islamic countries.
