The aim of the article is to introduce the philosophical meanings of the Mongolian long songs and their correlation to nature and the environment, and the way people think and express themselves. The content of the Mongolian long songs stresses mainly respect, modesty, philosophical teachings, and different roles of human beings and animals. Mongolian long songs that come in the form of duets or conversations, discuss natural phenomena and events. This article will discuss Mongolian long songs have many layers of philosophical meaning in the lyrics, which are often in the form of puzzles, and junctions avoiding directness. Long songs are as divers as the region and ethnic backround of the different mongolian minorities (Khalkha and Ordos). Additionally, the article first time will provide an introduction to the collected works: written by the ancient lama poet and scholar, (uridyn mergen gegeen) Lubsandambijalsan’s (1717-1766) ”Obugen shibaγu qoyar” (this song no only Rabjai’s) and Noyon qutugtu Luvsandanjin Rabjai’s (1830-1856) version preserves the style and character of the Mongolian antiphonal songs. In the book “The infinite Commandments of Existence” (1962:80-81), the song has two different contextual meanings. The name of the song is “Happy abundance”, but the antiphonal text is between the old man and the birds. The song was published in the twentieth century and contains a poem generally known as “Ebugen sibaγu qoyar” ( The old man and the Birds). This poem also called “Jarγaltain delger” (Joyful and prosperous), which is also its first line. It is a qarilcaγa daγuu, or “conversation song” between “Τhe old man and the Βirds”.
