The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the death preparation education on the death anxiety of social work students. To accomplish this goal, the researcher organized death preparation education as a regular course within the social welfare department and measured the changes of death anxiety level in 25 college students and 25 uneducated students. Finding suggests that death preparation education affects death anxiety of social work students. This result shows opening death preparation education as a regular course will help students improve their ability to understand and deal with life and death and reduce death anxiety on an individual level. On the professional level, It will help students to be prepared as social workers who can help clients experiencing death.
