The success of employment policy is a integrative recognition through diverse analysis methods and theoretical frames. In this context, this study was done basic research for policy plan in college students. Concretely, this study’s purpose is to understand college student’s career development process, by using a ethnography and rhythm analysis theory. Rhythm is a kind of result of repeatedly interaction on certain space. The performers occasionally have been subordinated by rhythm but they could be able to make a new rhythm through interaction each other. So, rhythm theory could provide integrative perspective about particular phenomenon.
Research findings are as below. First, in aspect on the space, learning space of college student have changed from traditional learning space lecture room to cafe. Second, in aspect on the time, they are spending to study about spec not a major field of study. Third, career development ‘s rhythm is simplified than the past. Because they have faced the social press so, they could not participate diverse activities, experiences. Consequently, their career development types deduct inertia rhythm, regulation rhythm, zero rhythm.
In order to the identity of the university as a traditional educational space has been weaking by another learning space cafe. So, we have to deal with to understand multifaceted way college student’s career development and to support their career development.
