Of late, a resilient city is the most sought out cliché in city planning and development. The tenet is about city performances, which posit to the ability of city systems, responding to the inherent and unpredictable urban related complexities in today’s world. Whilst cities continue to function competitively, this principle underlined an apparent idealism when every cities stakeholder is required to efficaciously involve in the construct of a competitive city aligned with new urbanism policies. However, this idealism is seemingly diffused into heretic endemics among urban societies that are saliently acculturated. The recent events of social calamity and it’s adversarial within cityscapes throughout world cities are evidence. Hypothetically, the uprisings of these social phenomena are due to the rise of radical social movements; premised to absolute resentment, ignorance, or dissonance from its own citizenry. As it is less explored, this dialectic relational does resemble Durkheim’s principles on ‘unity of arbitrary will’ relationship. Over years, the dialectic relational among the urban citizenry, especially from the youth cohort that is made up of more than 30% of urban population, could further instigate to the issues of marginality [psychological] among the urban citizenry, which may subjugate the whole process of resilient city milieu. It is the societies behavioral manifestation that suggests to the existence on dialectical relational with local polity status quo. It is a clear sign of unsecure feel factor among the urban citizenry that may expound to another epistemological debate on city resilient which is indeed, un-resilience. Having mentioned, heretic urbanism will be the tenet to this paper and would give emphasize to subliminal subjectivities of urban societies that may expound to the un-secured feeling among urban societies that may lead to the fallacy of resilient city protocol itself.
