In this study, we tried to explore the value and meaning of leisure recreation by exploring her and the social phenomenon of her era through the life of Professor Park, Won-Nim, the first female leisure recreation educator in Korea. Park was born in Japan in 1934 and returned to Jeolla-do Gwangju shortly after liberation. She was the first woman recreational educator in Korea to pursue leisure recreation in Japan through Chung-Ang University, followed by Professor Cheongsong Kim Oh-Jung. The history of women’s educational activities in the modern and contemporary history of Korea was a natural choice to overcome the crisis of national prosperity, not the issue of gender, in the situation of losing the country under the banner of educational center. I recalled that time and tried hard to live without discrimination between men and women, rather than putting meaning to the words ‘first’ and ‘women’. In order to provide value and hope for the people, I have practiced diverse social activities both at home and abroad. In order to realize the value of leisure, And the importance of home education. In addition, the theory of leisure recreation, behavioral practice and positive change through it are the value and meaning of leisure recreation. Therefore, the Korean Leisure Recreation Society and the Korea Leisure Recreation Association have to find a way to win.
