Recently the health functional food product market is growing fast for various reasons. Ease of obtaining the health functional food product information, increasing of single person households and increasing of elderly population resulted in an increased level of interest on the health functional food product. For this reason, the purpose of this research was to find out the influential factors that consumers consider when purchasing the health functional food product. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, based on existing document researches empirical survey was conducted with consumers had experience to use health functional foods in Pusan area. And the survey was carried out from June 20 to 30, 2018 for ten days. From 273 questionnaire sheets the influence relationship between variables of the research model were reviewed and the hypotheses were verified. The analysis results of this research are summarized as follows. The result of the analysis of first hypothesis showed that “the attitude(.297)”, “positive expected emotion(.240)” and “subjective norms(.301)” of the health functional food products had a positive effects on “the desire” of the health functional food products. The analysis of the relationship between “the desires(.756)” and “purchase intention” on the health functional food products turned out to have a positive influence. It is expected that the findings in this study could be used as the base data for the future behavioral analysis studies of the consumers of health functional food products.
