Among Taiwan"s 10 native languages, Atayal has the lowest degree of suitability of Korean language. In other words, it was predicted that the problem with Hangeul Writing was the most serious. Nevertheless, the reason for pursing Hangeul Writing System was that it judged that it was necessary or worthwhile to study how to overcome seemingly difficulties. This point was emphasized in a class aimed at solidifying the foundation of Hangeul Writing history, and the fruit was sublimated into this thesis. The following is a summary of the written Hangeul Writing System, which was drawn as a result of overcoming many difficulties.
(1) initial(17): 1) phonemic writing(14종): /ㅃ/[p], /ㄸ/[t], /ㄲ/[k], /ㅂ/[β~ ˅], /ㄱ/[ɣ], /ㅋ/[q], /ㅅ/[s], /ㅆ/[x], /ㅉ/[ts], /ㅎ/[h], /ㅁ/[m], /ㄴ/[n], /ㆁ/[ŋ], /ㄹ/[l∼r]. 2) diacritics(1): /’/[ʔ]. 3) syllabic writing(2종): /우/[w], /이/[y].
(2) ending(15): 1) phonemic writing(8종): /-ㅍ/[ph], /-ㅌ/[th], /-ㅋ/[kh], /ㄱ/[ɣ], -ㅁ/[m], /-ㄴ/[n], /-ㅇ/[ŋ], /-ㄹ/[l]. 2) diacritics(1): /’/[ʔ]. 3) syllabic writing(6종): /-크/[q], /-스/[s], /-허/[x], /-흐/[h], /-우/[w], /-이/[y].
(3) vowel(5) : 1) original vowel(4): /ㅣ/(이)[i], /ㅔ/(에)[e], /ㅏ/(아)[a], /ㅜ/(우)[u], /ㅗ/(오)[o]. 2) special vowel(2):ㅓ(허), ㅡ(흐, 크, 스).
There cannot be a perfect writing system, whether it is Korean or Roman. There will be some flaws. The deficiencies will have to be corrected through further research and local language research. I end up dozing off hoping to mature into a new academic system called "Hangeul Writing History".
