This study looks at the transition and process of the development of the cyber ski community from the earliest Electronic Bulletin Boards Age to the Internet age, for the purpose of providing the necessary basic materials for future development and the desirable expansion of the base of sports participants. The beginning, spread and development of the cyber ski community were closely examined, along with a review of the literature. In particular, two cyber ski communities were selected and surveyed, and their presidents interviewed in depth. The sample was selected by a purposeful sampling method. The results show that the cyber ski community has passed through various stages: club, Internet community after the wane of electronic bulletin boards, and uncontrolled growth of the cyber community. The current time can be seen as a period of association, through which a new ski culture is being formed
