As the diffusion of the Internet of Things(IoT) based on sensors is activated in the construction site, the type and amount of information to be collected is expanded, which may lead to concern about workers" information leakage and privacy invasion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of personal information leakage and workers" privacy invasion in sensor networks used for safety management in construction site, and to examine the applicability of block chain technology as a solution to this problem. As a result of the research, personal information of workers collected by sensor technology that can be applied to the construction site is classified into location, movement, and physiological information. The location information has the possibility of invasion of privacy at break time instead of working time, and the movement information can be abused for the purpose of job evaluation through real-time monitoring, physiological information can suggest the possibility of transferring responsibility to workers in case of construction safety accident. Although the client server structure is mainly used in the sensor network architecture that transmits and shares such information, there are vulnerabilities such as load centralization on the server side, data tampering, and deodorization. Therefore, we constructed a framework of sensor network that secures privacy of construction workers and enhances personal information security by utilizing characteristics such as decentralization, security, anonymity, speed, and scalability of the block chain technology. The expected effect of this study can improve the negative perception of the worker "s sensor attachment. Also, an efficient system can reduce costs and shorten information sharing time, and clear accountability after an accident. In addition, it can contribute to the minimization of damage caused by construction accident by providing information with higher reliability to workers quickly.
