The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of leader professionalism for elite athletes with disabilities by using conceptual analysis. For this purpose, a total of 60 people, 30 of which are elite athletes with disabilities and the other 30 were people with disabilities, who have a quiafilcation for a disabled sports instructor, were selected by using cluster sampling method. Data analysis was preformed by the conceptual analysis method proposed by Novak & Gowin (1984). Following results were obtaiend. First, in analyzing the upper concept of the two groups, the elite athletes with disabilities used a total of 148 high-level concepts, and they were divided into ‘knowledge’, ‘understanding of disability’, ‘performance’, ‘career’, ‘heart’, ‘relationship’, ‘qualities’, ‘instruction skills’, ‘motivation’ and ‘personality’. On the other hand, a total of 172 high-level concepts were used in the case of disabled sports leaders. The subjects were ‘knowledge’, ‘performance’, ‘mentality’, ‘career’, ‘understanding of disability’, ‘athlete management’ ‘skills’, ‘coping skills’, ‘player development’, ‘rapport formation’, and ‘morality’. Second, as a result of analyzing the characteristics of the upper concept of the two groups, elite athletes with disabilities ranked in the order of ‘knowledge’, ‘performance’, ‘mentality’, ‘understanding of disability’, ‘career and quality’ in hierarchy, the number of subordinate concepts included in upper concept, and character score. On the other hand, disabled sports leaders ranked in the order of ‘knowledge’, ‘performance’, ‘mental’, ‘career and qualities’, and ‘understanding of disabiitly’. Third, as a result of analyzing the subordinate concept and density of the two groups, total 89 types of factos rand 791 subordinate concepts were used for the elite athletes with disabilities. The range of density was 2.25 ~ 4.27 levels and the average density was 3.20. On the other hand, total 108 types of factors and 889 subordintea concepts were used for the disabled sports leaders. The density range was 2.57 ~ 5.28 and the average density was 3.67. Throughout the above results, it is important to provide basic data on professionalism to guide elite athletes with disabilities.
