This exploratory study analysed Internet contents which are focused on the older population. Framework for analysis was developed in the topics related to the aged. Categories of framework are divided into four subject topics : Act and policy for older population, aging and dependency, social activity and independency, Older population as consumers. Among four categories, aging and dependency related subjects are most prevalent. As a result, some suggestions are found. Most of the sites screened are rarely concerning for the older user. It is needed to develop sites for `older population`. It should be one of the strategies to enhance Internet accessibility of the aged. Contents of the sites have to be screened for getting trust and credibility, reflecting needs of the aged. Moreover for encouraging older persons to utilise facilities in their own community, facility information have to be provided by geographic division. It may be another strategy for enhancing Internet accessibility of the aged. Public support should be provided for developing non profit welfare sites. It will be significant information for the aged as a cyber support system. Senior-net should be built up for responding to increasing number of older Internet users. Net for the family caregivers of frail elderly should be built up also for encouraging them caring for the frail elderly at home. Control tower has to screen and manage senior-net sites when it be developed. Korean society of welfare for the aged or associations working for the aged can become the control tower to protect older persons from flow of information.
