The Nazi’s art of propaganda was playing very important role of a motive power that they could break out WWII in the ruins from WWI. Along with appealing public speech that could see through the mind of the masses, the parades, uniforms and armband stimulated them dramatically. Especially German’s military songs were an easiest way to influence its soldiers as a means of the propaganda. The Nazi had produced its military songs in order to raise the moral of soldiers and induce them to take part in the warfare voluntarily. Also, they had used folk songs, which were produced based on true heroic stories, in order to quiet some failures to battles that might be happen and transfer the failures to heroic sacrifices. Furthermore, they produced lyrical military songs that stir person’s emotions preventing rational and reasonable decisions to urge them to only put into practice. Lastly, for the purpose of depressing the moral of the enemy troops the Nazi spread many military songs to each fronts expecting to cause defeatism and distrust toward its government throughout the entire enemy. This paper is not only the study that deals with the military songs as one of the means of Hitler’s propaganda but also the analysis that shows how much a military song is important to strengthen a military discipline.
