There has been increasing interest in autonomous driving these days. In this paper, pieces of information that are necessary in the future autonomous driving vehicle is analyzed based on drivers’ preference. For the study, 38 information was extracted through the pilot study. Based on these pieces of information, user study was conducted among 30 drivers in the simulator environment, questioning how significant this information will be in the future autonomous driving environment. As a result, primary task related information is considered as the most crucial information in the future autonomous vehicle, secondary and tertiary task related information following in the respective order.
