This study investigates the Educational Training Satisfaction of the 532 marine police officers who were educated in 2015 Korea Coast Guard Academy and factors affecting on it. The educational training satisfaction level of marine police officers attending in the courses is higher than middle and generally they were satisfied with the educational training.
Analysis result of factors affecting on the educational training was that the individual characteristic and education environmental factors influence on the satisfaction in educational programs. Self-efficacy and learning motivation in the individual characteristics affect on the educational training satisfaction. Also the quality of instructors, support of seniors and co-workers impact on the level of educational training satisfaction.
Based on the result of study, the things to increase satisfaction for educational training were suggested. First, the learning climate of organization should be improved by supporting the exchange for education among workers. Second, various pedagogics should be used to improve the quality of class and instructor. Third, the needs of educational subjects and the practitioners for classes should be investigated, and then the educational training program is established, supplemented or amended.
