This study aims to verify the relation between detailed factors in order to find out what effect a combined exercise program, composed of aerobic exercise, muscular strength exercise and balance exercise, has on elderly people`s basic movements, gait and physical performance in their daily lives. This study selected 50 elderly people over 65 as research subjects, and after conducting a 24 weeks` combined exercise training on them, this study carried out a body composition test and SPPB (short physical performance battery) and a gait-rite test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: Firstly, as a result of the combined exercise training, elderly people`s weight and body fat rate decreased, while their lower-extremity muscle strength increased. Secondly, as a result of the combined exercise training, elderly people`s function of physical performance increased. Thirdly, as a result of the combined exercise training, elderly people`s gait speed, cadence, step time, single support time and double support time decreased, while their step length and step length/extremity ratio increased. Fourthly, the spatial parameter of gait was found to have the closest relation with the lower-extremity muscle strength, regardless of the exercise training, and the temporal parameter of gait was found to have a correlation with the exercise training, while having a close relation with the balance ability.
