The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the age, gender, muscular endurance, hamstring and quadriceps peak torque ratio (H/Q ratio) and isokinetic peak torque with postural stability measured via transformed BESS and posturomed test. The subjects trained with Taekwondo for long period of time were tested for isokinetic peak torque of knee and ankle with isokinetic dynamometer. Additionally sit and reach test and side step test were carried out for all subjects to determine the flexibility and muscular endurance. The data collected were analyzed with 2 × 3 analysis of variance, Pearson``s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 at the 0.05 significance level. The results showed that no significant age and sex differences were found in BESS and posturomed test. For male players significant correlation was found with percent body fat and with agility in BESS, and significant correlation exited between percent body fat and BMI in posturomed. For female players significant negative correlation was found with age in BESS and agility in posturomed respectively. Agility were determining factors that affect postural stability expressed with BESS in the male and female players. Weight and ankle plantar flexion peak torque were found as statistically significant explanatory factors to Posturomed test.
