This study intended to explore the works of Fashion House Schiaparelli, particularly as it was reborn in its design inheritance and features thereof. For the study, the literature on works of Schiaparelli and collections from 2013 F/W to 2016 S/S were examined together. The results are summarized as follows. Christian Lacroix did an ‘homage’ to Schiaparelli and presented a new look forwomen by combining couture decoration, the contrast of strong colors, and the emotion of theatrical art. Marco Zanini reinterpreted the ‘shocking’, the keyword symbolizing the house, as a new wonderment, and searched for differentiated images by employing new patterns of beguiling techniques, modification of materials, and new approaches to a silhouette. Bertrand Guyon also reinterpreted the spirit and design elements in past works of Schiaparelli, and added couture expression, wit, and modern taste to seek an expressionof sustainable newness. The works of the Fashion House Schiaparelli, as presented through the above designers, appear to have re-illuminated surrealistic fashion images, inherited the communication between art and fashion, and succeeded in re-identifying the house through iconic design reinterpretations. The revival of the tradition and values of the pedigreed fashion house with the contemporary trends of modern fashion will be helpful for successive designers in terms of their creative conception and expressions thereof.
