Ancient Japan is said to have been a matrilineal society. It seems that however, it and the interpretation to connect are rare and were not observing the gods who appear at the age of the gods of the Kojiki and Nihonshoki in particular about the activity image of the goddess, either. It seems that the tale of the age of the gods was treated on the side in which I mainly analyze the myth itself from the character of husband-and-wife God, and I was not seeing it focusing on the goddess as an element which constitutes a myth.
The goddesses drawn on the main myths which I analyzed were very positive, progressing oneself, and approaching a man"s God or leading a relation. And the ex post facto processing which an interest produces also precedes, and I am coping with it. Although it is expected that such an example is in cooperation also with the social standing of women of those days, such as maternal inheritance, it seems that the time when the Kojiki and Nihonshoki was written is related. It is because it must have had relation that the statesman at the time of making a history book make was a queen.
As everyone knows, the Kojiki and Nihonshoki is the history book made when Emperor Gemmei and Emperor Gensyo reigned. Therefore, it is thought that a ruler"s character is also reflected also in depiction of a goddess with cultural long custom.
The situation of such a time was among the reverse sides drawn as a positive and active person. Furthermore, the Imperial Household"s founder is also a goddess called Amaterasu(天照大御神). If it pushes from these points, in the world of the Kojiki and Nihonshoki myth, men-women relations are treated on equal terms, and I can say that there was no difference of the capability by sex.
