Report Errors

Anti-Korean sentiments in Japan have appeared at several moments throughout history. Although these anti-Korean sentiments may prevent the rise of Hallyu, or Korean pop-culture, this may simply be a temporary phenomenon. Most studies in Korea have analyzed this phenomenon from a single perspective, based on cultural, historical, and political factors.
Accordingly, it is necessary to analyze anti-Korean sentiments in Japan from a multi-dimensional perspective that supersedes previous cultural, historical, and political perspectives in order to promote mutual understanding and improve communication in the future.
