With the purpose of examining the influence on physical self-conception, characteristic development, and living attitude of elementary school students’ Taekwon-do training, this dissertation aims at emphasizing the necessity to train Taekwon-do regularly, to parents and trainees, and at providing academic basic materials.
With the purpose of attaining the aim, this dissertation selected a population composed of the elementary school students, having participated in the Thirty Seventh Jeollanam-do Superintendent Flag Tie, extracted a sample by Convenient Sampling Method, and used 251 copies except 9 ones of 260 copies containing unfaithful answer, no answer, and other poor contents. This dissertation, with SPSS WIN Ver21.0, performed Frequency Analysis, Factor Analysis, and Correlation Analysis, and leaded to the conclusion as followings by performing Multiple Regression Analysis in order to examine the influence among factors.
First, as a result of performing Multiple Regression Analysis to examine the influence on characteristic development of physical self-conception, this dissertation found that physical self-conception had an influence statistically on characteristic development, that is, endurance, concentration, composure, confidence, self-esteem, and manner.
Second, as a result of performing Multiple Regression Analysis to examine then influence on living attitude of physical self-conception, this dissertation found that physical self-conception had an influence statistically on school living attitude, usual living attitude. and relation with teachers. Third, as a result of performing Multiple Regression Analysis to examine the influence on living attitude of characteristic development, this dissertation found that characteristic development had an influence statistically on school living attitude, usual living attitude. and relation with teachers.
