The purpose of this article was to consider the inner landscape of contemporary poets and poetic features, through the poem published in the magazine of Literature and Art(문예) at ‘Liberation Period(해방기)’. These poems revealed the specificity of ‘conditions and strengthening of lyrical subject’, ‘anxiety and emptiness of existential subject’ and ‘the subject to desire the unknown’.
One of the features of the poems published in the magazine of Literature and Art(문예) is that express the lyrical subjects consciously and intensely than ever before. The poetic subject intend to emphasize his absolute appearance or reveal his narcissism in a position to conflict with the outside world. This phenomenon is also engaged with the phenomenon being powered internal logic of purely literary that ‘Ideology literature(이데올로기 문학)’ was in antagonistic positions.
Another feature eye－catching at this time is absurd fate of life itself, anxiety and emptiness accepting the emergence of the existential subject. The logic of having a right－wing literary organizations, which regain the purity of the poem as precluding ideology regain the essence of the poem with an emphasis on self, would have been consciously or unconsciously influenced contemporary poems. Nevertheless, this period can be that poets are trying to find a subject and a new poem.
