This thesis investigates the function and meaning of kinship terminology used by the Kweons of Andong, in a Lineage Village of Andong. The qualities that constitute the inner form of termed kinship organization - generation, lineality and collaterality, distance of collaterality, consanguine and affine, age, marriage, genders, degree of relationship `hang-lyeol`(行列) and age, `taek-ho`(宅號), determiner, and etc. Generally, terms of adress appear by generation, but the Kweons of Andong shows unique form of term, that terms of adress and generation do not correspondence. Discriminal qualitive meaning of lineality and collaterality has an important function, which is to classify terms of adress. Terms of adress of collaterality are further classified by the distance in collaterality. Terms of adress are definitely classified by consanguine and affine. Although in consanguine terms of adress are differentiated in many ways, in affine terms of adress are defined by a single word form. Terms of adress for a specific kinship are changed variously by age and marital status. Differentiation of the general form of terms of adress are achieved by gender of the speaker and listener. Terms of adress appear to be related to degree of relationship `hang-lyeol` and age, however when degree of relationship `hang-lyeol` and age is not related to each other a unique term of adress is used. In order to classify terms of adress more specifically, `taek-ho` or determiner before kinship terminology, for example `keun(큰-), jak-eun(작은-), mat(맏-), se(새-), cheotjje(첫째-), duljje(둘째-), is used.
