Nowaday, environment alteration and computer appearance depended on development of science and technology make a considerable change on textile design products following on new technology. Textile design products in futurism present a new trend emphasizing the character and appearance of materials recently. This study aims to analyzing the affect of futurism on textile design products in latest trend. The scope of this research includes the origin and development of futurism, and the case studies about futurism on apparel, fashion accessaries, and interior textile. The results of this study are adjusted as below. First, development of high technology influences on exploitation of peculiar materials, and inspires designers to creating ideas about futuristic look design. Color and material on apparel represent characteristics of retro-futurism, and increase double effects by various attempts. Second, futurism influences on not only apparel but also fashion accessaries. Typical characteristics of fashion accessaries-shoes, handbag, and briefcase-represent retro-futurism using splendid metallic images on exaggerative simple silhouette. Third, futurism on interior textile presents comfortable and classical characteristics of semi-futurism. Interior textile keeps modern style using silver and gold as main colors besides showing warm texture on futuristic materials, and soft curve lines from classical elements. Therefore, it was figured out that futurism effects to modifying retro-futurism in field of apparel and fashion accessaries, and semi-futurism in field of interior textile. As conclusion, it was predicted that futurism in the future would be developed and expressed as fusion style based on atypical formation with the idea of `return to nature`. This research offers basic academic data to develop new textile design products in industries and educational organizations related in textile design area.
