This study defines the concept of the child’s mind from the aspect of inclination, and then explains how the writers reach it.
The child’s mind means the tendency of mind exposed with perception and behavior of children. So when adult writer says “returns to the innocence of childhood”, it means mental activity inferencing or recovering the innocence of childhood.
The main sources appearing tendency of the innocence of childhood are aspects of “self” and “experience”. In analysing children’s poem of Lee Jun-gwan, this study explains the appearances of identity and behavior into “the formation of self”, “the extension of self”, and “children’s experience in the growth period”. This study suggests this two basic structures.
