The aim of this essay is to investigate a possible integrative Christian ethics of bio-ecology theoretically, and then `a form of conciliarity` of the Church`s moral responsibility for securing the life and ecological problems in practice. From the methodological point of view, threefold analyses of the relation of science, ethics and theology are integrated to show a more complementary system of the ethics of life and ecology. so the essay is, firstly, to undertake an analysis of the two types of logical explanations of scientific knowledge of bio-ecology; secondly, to explore that they seem to be genuinely the web of threads which help us to observe the comprehensive form and function of bio-ecology and here a teleological argument is possible implied; and thirdly in this light of holistic view to suggest that science and technology must encounter theology and vice versa in order to bring together bio-ecology and Christian ethics. Since I am convinced that the task of Christian theology and ethics in relation to bio-ecology is the elucidation and guidance of the nature of Christian truth-value claims by which our experience and action is to be interested as whole, these logical explanations of scientific knowledge and theological understanding may provide us with a useful tool for working on contemporary ethical problems of the relation of theology and bio-ecology. Under the circumstance of bio-ecological crisis theology must seriously discuss new theological implications of nature. And theological arguments must be consistent with the scientific evidence, even if they are not derivable from current scientific explanations in order to advocate theological ethics of bio-ecology. Thus I shall, finally, invoke `forms of conciliar life` of which the Christian Churches have developed them for a koinonia of life from her early traditions.
