Chronic low back pain is an extremely common problem that most people experience at some point in their life. And obesity may increase chronic low back pain more hardly. The purpose of this study was to examine investigate an efficiency of different exercise (general, nordic walking) on body composition, physical fitness, lumbar extension strength for obesity and chronic low back pain in male university students. The 24 male with obesity and chronic low back pain and then they were divided into two groups (G.W=12;. N.W=12). 6 wks different exercise program consisted of same time in day, 1 hour a day, 3 times a week. For data analysis, the mean and standard deviation were estimated; 2×2 repeated measured ANOVA were carried out. Also paired samples t-test for within groups, if there were significant in within effects. The results of the present study were as followed: First, in physical fitness, there were significantly improved flexibility and cardiopulmonary endurance on male students with obesity and low back pain after 6 wks general and nordic walking exercise. And, there was significantly improved power male students with obesity and low back pain after 6 wks nordic walking exercise. Second, there was significantly improved lumbar extension strength on male patient with obesity and low back pain after nordic walking exercise. It would be concluded that 6 wks general and nordic walking exercise program elicited some positive changes in the male patient with obesity and low back pain. Also, it was concluded that walking exercise program necessary for the patients or not to improve and protect especially obesity and low back pain.
