The purpose of this study was attempt to grasp the situation of elementary, middle, high school students` understanding of the various contents which activate the connected programs between the physical activities of schools and local communities, at once, and, to furnish the necessary data for research a model for the program through the group interviewing with the students. The 7-9 students are from two classes of each 36 schools, a third of 36 schools are each from elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools, in Seoul; and the classes are which use a program connected between the school and local community for the educational activities for the speciality and the aptitude. Analysis of data consist of the questionnaire using the frequency, percentage, and the group interviewing using the inductive category analyzation. The result of the study is affirmatively the need of not only the intramural physical education, but also the extramural physical activities and the physical activities for the speciality and the aptitude. However, the real rate of participantion in activities, except for the intramural activities, is very low. In addition, it shows the unsatisfactory tendency of facilities, programs, and leaders throughly. So the students are highly interested in developing a program of excellent quality. In relation with, and, the recognition of the connected programs, most the students are paticipate in voluntarily, but a few choose a program only to join his friend without regard to his hobby or interest. Most of the students, who are paticipate in the programs, are satisfied, but some are not because of the far distance or fatique. In conclusion, the students are highly interested in the connected programs, and they are satisfied with them. So, it will be necessary to give more opportunities for students to develope the powers latent within them through activating the connected programs between the physical activities of schools and local communities.
