The purpose of this study was to find out the determinant factors related to future aspiration of college athletes. Research hypotheses and casual model were designed, based on the previous studies and theories. Personal attributes, major, autonomy support of significant others were set for socio-demographic variables, degree of participation in sports, level of achievement, satisfaction of sports participation, and future aspiration. The samples were collected from college athletes(182) and others(223) in Seoul, Kyunggi, and Daejon province by using a purposive sampling method. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires whose validity and reliability were tested through the pilot study. ANCOVA analysis, regression analysis and path analysis method were also used in order to test hypotheses. Each hypothesis was tested at the signigicant level of.05. On the basis of the results, the conclusions were drawn as followings; 1. Extend of parent`s education and autonomy support of parents have positively significant influences on their future aspiration, but job of parents has negative influence. 2. Athletes have much lower future aspiration rather than non-athletes. 3. There are significant differences of the future aspiration according to kinds of sports participation 4. Community feeling, self-acception, financial success have a positive influence on frequency, time, and duration of participation in sports. 5. Academic and athletic achievement of athletes have no significant influences on their future aspiration. 6. Satisfaction of athletes with their sports participation has positively significant influence on the future aspiration.
