Ballroom dance has played its positive part. Today it is integrated into the new conception and tries to enlarge its part and boundaries. Many people want to learn Tango because it has musical attractiveness and strong impression. People have more opportunities to dance Tango than ever. But today each type of dances is popularized in the name of Tango. Thus in many cases people are confused at it. In fact, two representative types of Tango including Argentine Tango and European Tango are performed or be held only in the name of Tango without expatiation. Thus the purpose of this study is to look its property of various types of Tango and dissolve that state of confusion. As the result of research, this study cane to the conclusions as follows: First, Tango is likely to begin in the late of 1870s in Buenos Aires Argentine with the use of its name. Especially Argentine Tango began from its historical origination. Second Milonga among a few of elements in the origin of Tango retains its original form in the motion of Argentine Tango, though it became easy and popularized from its early shape. Third, other types of Tango except for Argentine Tango including Continental Tango was transmitted to Continent or America from Buenos Aires Argentina. The result above proves that other types of Tango was developed according to the cultural emotion of that region or the condition of the times. Fourth, the basic motion is featured by the steps of the lower body rather than the uppor body due to the peculiar `Embrache` maintaining the Pyramid shape of the upper body standing shoulder to shoulder with each other. This property is different from Continental Tango that maintains the state left the space between the shoulders of dances and controls the motion of the lower body in the posture of horse riding in standing with each other from rib to the one side pelvis.
