The purpose of this study were to describe and compare the selected electromyographical muscle activities of body during the Dance sports Tango Through over sway movement. Using surface electrode, we evaluated muscle activity in 4 male Players and Amateur dancers during a Tango Through over sway movement. Surface electrodes were used to record the level of muscle activity in the Trapezius, Erector spinae, Vastus lateralis, Gastrocnemius. These signals were compared with %RVC(Reference voluntary contraction) which was normalized by IEMG(Integrated EMG). we observed patterns of selected muscle activity throughout five phases of the Through over sway movement.
The Through over sway movement results can be summarized as follows: LTP, RTP, LVL, RVL, LGCM, had statistically significant difference in 1st phase, LTP, RTP, LES, RES, RVL had statistically significant difference in 2nd phase, LTP, LVL, RGCM had statistically significant difference in 3rd phase, RTP, LVL, RVL had statistically significant difference in 4th phase, RTP, LES, LVL, RVL, RGCM had statistically significant difference in 5th phase,
The results can also help in injury prevention, and rehabilitation of the players through the analysis of the muscle activity when performing a Through over sway Tango. In addition, there is thought to be helpful in basic materials and guidance and training to perform the appropriate action amateur.
