The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the blood electrolyte concentrations on anaerobie exercise. Twenty-one male subjects Middle distance runner groups(n=7), Wrestler group(n=7), and Control group(n=7) were participated in anaerobic testing on 30s Wingate Anaerobic Test. Blood samples were collected 20 min prior to testing, immediately after testing and 30min after testing from antecubital vein and anlysed subsequently for CI^-, NA^+ and K^+ using ILyte Analyzer(S.P.A. Italy). Total work-out, mean power and peak power achieved during the tests were also obtained via a power max ergometer. The data from the test was compared using analysis of one-way ANOVA and repeated ANOVA with significance at the .05 level. The results of this study were as follow ; 1. There was also significant difference in Total work-out(p=.000), Mean power(p=.000) and Peak power(p=.000) in three groups 2. The blood Na^+ levels in three groups were significantly different after both anaerobic exercise and at 30 min recovery(p=.000). There was also significant difference between wrestler and control group at 30 min recovery(p=.010). 3. The blo4od Cl^- levels in three groups were not significantly different at any time throughout the experiment(p=.084). There were also no significant difference in three group(p=.576). 4. The blood K^+ levels in three groups were significantly different after both anaerobic exercise and at 30 min recover(p=.000). There were also significant differences between middle distance and control group(p=.000) and wrestler and control group after anaerobic exercise(p=.024). At 30 min recovery there were significant differences between middle distance and control group(p=.001) and wrestler. We conclude that the serum Na^+, K^+ concentrations are consequently raised after unaerobic exercise. Na^+, K^+ are removed by the Na-K pump, and training may influence the number of pumps.
