The purpose of this study was to compare the actual state and the consciousness about physical activity between korean and compatriot in china. The subjects of this study were sampled 340 compatriots lived in yongil city of china and 345 persons lived in Iksan city of korea. The reasults were as follows; 1. In the recognition on one`s own Health; the compatriot had higher health recognition than Korean. 2. In the most important element for Health care; in man side, Korean and compatriot showed both the most response to the item of physical activity, and in woman side, Korean to the item of regular life, compatriot to the item of the proper physical activity. 3. In necessity of physical education for everyday life: Korean and compatriot recognized both high necessity. 4. In the purpose of physical activity; Korean and compatriot showed both high response to the items of health promotion and geting rid of stress 5. In the contents of leisure time; Korean showed the most response to the item of physical activity in man side, to the item of house-keeping in woman side, and compatriot to the item of TV. viewing in man side and in woman side. G. In exercise frequency a week; Korean and compatriot showed both the most respanse to the item of 1-2 times a week. 7. In the mean exercise time; Korean and compatriot showed both the most response to the item under 30min. 8. In the time of physical activity involvement; Korean showed the most response to the item of at any time, but compatriot to the item of morning. 9. In the place for physical activity; in man side, Korean and compatriot showed both the most response to the item of school ground, and in woman side, Korean to the item of household, compatriot to the item of residential street.
