The purpose of this study is to consider the history of researches concerning on the struggle organization of Donghak peasant troops. Until now it has been understood for the organization of Donghak peasant troops in terms of Jipkangso. However, it is wrong. Jipkangso was not a struggle organization. It had been established at the motion of government to maintain public order and security. Doso was the struggle organization of Donghak peasant troops. Therefore, the organization of Donghak peasant troops should be newly comprehended by putting emphasis on the Doso. There are further subjects of research as follows.
Firstly, the organization of Doso should be explained in details.
Secondly, the establishment time of Jipkangso needs to be clarified.
Thirdly, it is the fuction and location of Jipkangso.
Fourthly, characteristics of the Jipkangso’s establishment time need to be understood.
Lastly, it is an ideology of Doso, which is an rightfulness. They should be researched concretely as contemporary opinions.
