Report Errors
Nowadays, most countries need to procure a big stable domestic market and to promote international trade on account of recession. It is possible that Korea join the Trans-Pacific Partnership in order to obtain such a huge market as a macro economic policy. We predict how much Korea increases amount of trade as long as Korea becomes a 13th member of TPP. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to estimate a trade effect of becoming a member of TPP on the Korean perspective.
As a result of the empirical analysis with random effect estimation and fixed effect estimation, fixed effect estimation is the suitable model for this study throughout the hausman test in advance. And then Korea can get the trade increasing effect of 85.5% among the members of joining TPP on average.
