This thesis aims to suggest poetic space in Shin Kyung-rim’s poems. Shin Kyung-rim’s poems show special effects in that he tries to be a populace in his literature. Above all, his poems are characterized by distance far from the fixed ideology. Shin Kyung-rim’s poems show a poetic space to appear in four steps. Admitted for the first time will explore the lyrical self in abstract space. He in the second period is stated in the lyrical about the populace. In the third period, He go to the city from rural to sing the love of the poor. He in the fourth period are presented as a source of lyrical sadness. Poetic space of a poet is related to the individual’s existential time. Poetic space lasts until death from the time when a poet makes the first creation. It is also the source of the poetic. His lyrical and narrative text has been harmonized with each other.
