This essay show the place in Shin, kyeong-rim’s poetry of 1980’s read by literacy geography. Shin, kyeong-rim’s poetry of 1980’s means Dalneomse(1985), Poor Lovely Song(1988), and Road(1990) by Shin, kyeong-rim.
This essay is studied that Shin, kyeong-rim’s poetic character which is variety and live person represented in Shin, kyeong-rim’s poetry of 1980’s caused by place. A zone such as a truce line or Bukhan-river is deferment in the ideology. Sungil-bridge, Bukhan-river, and Namhan-river are deferment in the ideology.
And home is true sense of place, not oppressed space. In Oh oh, My Home, place is behaviorly, emotive, and existent interior. Also in Soigarak of Sangam-dong residents in Sangam-dong have ideal home. They leaved home long time ago and settled in Sangam-dong. They lived and enjoyed together. Sangam-dong is home.
