Report Errors
To improve communication competence which is one of the core factors required by future society, it is necessary that curriculum should include these elements. Therefore, this study aims to find out elements which can contribute to improving communication competence focusing on ‘Speaking and Listening’ of National Curriculum for England and Common Core State Standards. As for curriculum system, integration was considered in case of area presentation and connection was important element when it comes to setting contents category. In the contents element aspect, statement of aim was specific, presentation of attainment targets made the sequence, alive and practical materials are presented and utilized well. We could find out that these mixed features constitute curriculum and contribute to improving oral communication competence.
